Our first Come and Play Day went really well, and everyone was really buzzing with ideas by the end. We managed to explore a lot of repertoire as well as the question of how historically informed practice can be applied to modern bows and instruments. Judging from our feedback, it really seemed as if there was something for everyone, whether they were teachers, amateurs or school-age participants. This was really pleasing for us as we believe that baroque music, and the historically informed approach has such a broad appeal, and so much engagement potential too, regardless of age or interest!
